Some recent Events!

For the third year in a row, Mr. and Mrs. Claus greeted our little ones after enjoying a sumptuous breakfast buffet at the Navy Officers’ Club.

Fifteen Westover families with 38 kids and 40 adults gathered for a hot breakfast at the Navy’s Flagship Catering Center on Saturday, Dec. 17th. Mr. and Mrs. Claus went over each wish list and gave out gifts and hugs.

Many thanks go out to Joe Farrell our resident photographer and Joe and Bette Gotwald, our spirited couple from the North. The event is put on by the Westover Women’s Club with financial help from the Westover Civic Association.

A few of this year’s Dear Santa letters read:

Dear Santa,
I’ve been good this year because…I have been helping more than last year. And I have been helping my friends when they are sad. My Christmas Wish list is…doll wheelchair and a doll care kit.

Dear Santa,
I’ve been good this year because…I help mommy. My Christmas Wish list is…Big Mack Trick, Lightening McQueen, Sally and Mader.

Dear Santa,
I’ve been good this year because…I play with my brothers and sister. And help Mommy clean our huse. I clean my room. My Christmas Wish list is…suprisis and meat.

Dear Santa,
I’ve been good this year because…I listen to my Mommy and Daddy. My Christmas wish list is … candy cane.

Dear Santa,
I’ve been good this year because…I do my homework. I helped my sister get down from her highchair and I clean the table. My Christmas Wish list is…The Wii Game called GoVacation and a Golden Retreiver puppy, plus a jet pack and a snow ball throwing machen.
