There are many opportunities to get involved with the events hosted by the Westover Civic Association. Here's a sampling of some upcoming events.
All of the special events held in Westover are supported by your annual dues payment. Our goal is to provide activites for residents of all ages.

2026 Events
Easter Egg Hunt

Registration Information:
$5 per child (Cash only, please bring exact amount)
Please register by email to westover@villageofwestover.org and include # of children and their ages by March 21st. Ages are helpful as we divide the children by age groups and have staggered starts. It's important to arrive promptly in order to check in and not miss your start!
Come dressed for outside weather and bring a basket, bag, or bucket to gather the goodies! Don't forget to bring your camera to take pictures with the Westover Easter Bunny!

Spring Clean Up Day

Sign up here to let us know you are coming!
We are using a sign up sheet again so people can commit to what works for them and so it is not the same few helpers each time. Aside from mowing, any Civic Association work in the Commons is done by volunteers!
Come for an hour or two- many hands help get the Commons looking great for the season. Bring gloves, rakes, pruners, chainsaws, pole saws, yard waste bags, trash cans, wheelbarrows, tarps, or other useful tools and we can get this done together! We won't be mulching this time. Trimming trees and bushes and picking up limbs and branches will be our priorities.
We will have a group at McCord Commons and also at the Lower Commons. We need volunteers at both locations!
Our rain date will be Sunday, April 19th at 12pm, but stay tuned for any updates as we hope to get this done on Saturday.
Spring Picnic

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at McCord Commons again for our annual Spring Picnic!
We will have our fan favorites: live music, the balloon artists, and food trucks! Rich Caloiero will be performing again! Potato Coop and Alsies Ice Cream Trucks are booked!
*PLEASE NOTE* The Board has supported a change to free food for members this year. Please bring cash for purchases from the Potato Coop, which will offer its full food truck menu instead of our catered menu in years past.

Ice cream treats will be free for paid members.
Attendees are also welcome to bring their own food and beverages to the Commons for the Picnic. This accommodates more food preferences and families. The change is made in part based on resident feedback and in an effort to maintain financial stewardship of member dues.
