There are many opportunities to get involved with the events hosted by the Westover Civic Association or the Westover Women's Club.  Here's a sampling of some upcoming events.

All of the special events held in Westover are supported by your annual dues payment.  Working closely with the Westover Women's Club, our goal is to provide activiites for residents of all ages.

If you would like to help out either with planning or volunteering at an event, contact the Civic Association via e-mail at:

Fall Yard Sale

Friday, October 4th & Saturday, October 5th

8:00am - 2:00pm

Westover Women’s Club organizes and advertises the Fall Yard Sale. Host in your own yard or garage. Clean out your closets and basements while you are doing fall cleaning! Or make room for what treasures you will find at a neighbor’s sale! Please be cautious of increased traffic in Westover on these days and be mindful of school children and bus stops in the morning.

Annual Pumpkin Carving

Saturday, October 26th, 4:00-5:30pm

McCord Commons

Price: $5/pumpkin

A Westover favorite! Westover Women’s Club, with funding provided from the Civic Association, hosts this seasonal sensation in McCord Commons. The event will again take place on a Saturday this year instead of a weeknight to allow more families to attend! We will have plenty of carving tools for all participants to use, but you may bring your own. The Women's Club will also provide yummy hot chocolate and baked goods free of charge. Parents and adults may want to bring folding chairs. Women's Club needs your help to set up, clean up and everything in between. Please reach out to westover@villageofwestover.org if you can volunteer with this fun event. Please RSVP to RSVP717@gmail.com by Sunday, October 20th to reserve your pumpkin. Include your name and the number of children attending. Non-perishable food donations will again be collected this year for New Hope Ministries. We hope to see you there!
