Families in need in Cumberland County and Surrounding Areas

 

 

Neighbors, service, friendship, food and fun...a Westover tradition for approximately 40 years!  You’ll find great food and drink at our September through May monthly gatherings while getting to know your neighbors, enjoying a night out, and strengthening our community as we meet in a member’s home for a delicious meal and a short business meeting.

 

The Westover Women's Club has evolved over the past 40 years, but has endured with the changing of times.  With that understanding, and after much feedback from the women living in our neighborhood today, the Women's Club will operate a little differently than in recent and past years.  Most meetings will be BYOB, and In place of the full "gourmet" meals of the past, women are welcome to bring along favorite appetizers, side dishes or desserts to share, but it is certainly not required to attend.  The "business" part of the meetings will be kept as short as possible.  We are looking to add fun events like Bunco nights.  If you have a fun idea for a themed meeting night or activity, please let us know.

 

In addition to the wonderful social aspect, the Westover Women’s Club operates the Westover Care and Share Charity, which raises money to provide urgent financial help to families in the greater community.  The Women’s Club is positively impacting the lives of those in need.  For our neighborhood kids, the Westover Women’s Club sponsors an Easter Egg Hunt, Fall Pumpkin Carving, and Holiday Breakfast.  The Club also sponsors the Spring and Fall Yard Sales and co-chairs the Spring Picnic in McCord Commons with the Westover Civic Association.
